Returning Items

If you are unsatisfied with a product you have purchased from RC Overstock, Inc. (RCO) you may return it within 14 days from date of purchase. We can be reached M-F, 9:00AM – 5:00PM excluding major holidays.

Returns are subject to the following guidelines:

A.) Exchange

Defective product(s) may be returned to RCO for exchange if the following conditions are met:

  • Product is complete, unassembled, unmodified and in original packaging
  • RMA Request Form is submitted within 14 days of original purchase
  • RMA is approved by RCO support staff

If product is no longer available from RCO or the supplier, an RCO store credit for the sale amount minus shipping and handling will be applied to the customer’s account.

If the product is still available from the supplier but no longer stocked by RCO, RCO will make every effort to obtain a replacement product for exchange. This transaction may be transferred to the product manufacturer or supplier as a warranty replacement at which time RCO is not responsible for any additional steps, shipping costs or time incurred on behalf of the buyer during the exchange process.

B.) Parts Replacement

One of the benefits of the RC industry is that manufacturers often support products with replacement and upgrade parts for a long time. Some products listed on RCO are aged products where we've bought the remaining inventory on the planet (well, certainly North America!) so there's a slim chance there are no replacement parts available.  It’s always best to contact us in the event of a bad part and we’ll consider the options available to you and present the best course of action to get you up and running as fast as possible.

C.) Manufacturer’s Warranty

Most products sold by RCO are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have a warranty issue, please follow the instructions provided in your original packaging for warranty services. If you’re stuck and need help – just contact RCO Support at and we’ll do our best to help you out!

D.) Returns

Products may be returned to RCO for a refund under the following conditions: 

  • Product is complete, unassembled, unmodified and in original unopened packaging.
  • RMA Request Form is submitted within 14 days of original purchase
  • RMA is approved by RCO support staff

If product inner packaging or part(s) bags have been opened, product is no longer eligible for a full refund.  RCO will assess the condition of the product for resale and will offer either store credit (minus original shipping cost and a 5% handling & processing fee) or, in the event product has been used or damaged, a partial store credit towards the original purchase price - at RCO's sole discretion.  

We are not Wal-Mart.  We are not Best Buy.  We are not Target.  We are a small business that works on small margins and small volume.  We also offer products they cannot.  If you don't understand the dynamics of business margins, loss, and profitability - that's ok, we do!  Just understand that our product return, support and exchange policies are in place so we can be your RC partner for years to come.
